The sliced plastinated pig larynx-trachea is ideal to show students the cartilage of the larynx and relationship to the cricoid cartilage and trachea. The epiglottis is shown, as well as vocal folds when students look inside. The cut of the larynx is similar to plastic models so students can compare. Some specimens include the esophagus.
