Stomach

The plastinated pig stomach has similarities to human stomachs, but larger. With the viewing ports, students can view the interior of the stomach, while maintaining the dimensions of the stomach. There is an esophageal segment to show the entry into the stomach, as well as the duodenal exit via the pyloric region. Interior rugae can be seen. On some specimens, remnants of the greater omentum may be present.
